The fifth charity auction of paintings produced during Arts Symposium SummArt Paiters' Campus 2008 collected EUR 5950.
This summer the fifth international arts symposium SummArt Painters' Campus 2008 was held in Chisinau on July 2 to 8. This Symposium is held annually by LEOGRAND Hotel & Convention Center under the aegies of Moldova's Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A logical conclusion of the symposium, phase two of this socio-cultural project was the Auction of Paintings held at LEOGRAND Hotel & Convention Center on December 4. 34 paintings produced during the international arts symposium SummArt Painters' Campus were offered for sale at the auction , with 28 paintings ultimately sold. The charity auction proceeds made EUR 5950.All the proceeds will be allocated to support 180 students aged 10 to 17, who studying arts at Igor Vieru Arts Lyceum.
