The 12th Meeting of the Heads of State and Government of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in LEOGRAND Hotel & Convention Center.
On June 5th 2009 LEOGRAND Hotel & Convention Center welcomed The Heads of State and Government of South East European Cooperation Process Participating States, Presidents: Mr. Georgi Pirvanov, Mr. Vladimir Voronin, Mr. Boris Tradic, Prime Minister Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Deputy Prime Ministers: Ms. Jadranka Kosor, Mr. Vujica Lazovic, Minister Mr. Antonio Milososki, Deputy Ministers: Mrs. Ana Trisic Babic, Mr. Yannis Valinakis, State Secretary Mr. Bogdan Aurescu, Secretary General Mr. Ferit Hoxha have met in Chisinau at the 12 Meeting Of Heads of State and Government of the SEECP. The SEECP is a political forum aimed at assisting its member states which are not EU members in fostering the European integration processes. Presently, the organisation includes 11 states from the region. Moldova joined SEECP in 2006 and, in 2008, it took over the SEECP chairmanship from Bulgaria. For the first time during a year, 2008-2009, Republic of Moldova held the Chairmanship at the South East European Cooperation Process. Within the forum, Moldova hand over the SEECP chairmanship to Turkey.
